In the course of its reorganization in 2007, Leuphana introduced a university model unique within the German academic landscape. By spring 2009 the new academic schools had been established. Within the scope of the university-wide Sustainability Research Science Initiative, academics in the Faculty of Sustainability look at the conditions and opportunities for sustainable development.
