The Social Investment Business Group is made up of the charity, Adventure Capital Fund, and its social enterprise, The Social Investment Business. We are one of the UK's largest social investors and have made over 1300 investments in civil society organisations ranging from under £5,000 to almost £7 million. We invest in viable, non-bankable projects: faciliating their move into more enterprising ventures; strengthening them; investing in excellence; and bringing to scale the most innovative ideas. We bring finance, knowledge and expertise to help civil society organisations thrive – improving their infrastructure, increasing their capacity, helping them bid for, and win, public service contracts.
